Django 5.1 was released in August 2024 (https://www.djangoproject.com/weblog/2024/aug/07/django-51-released/) I think it's time to add it to officially supported versions.
I can prepare a patch, however I cannot register on netlandish https://code.netlandish.com :|

hg emailto submit the patch to the mailing list. It's really simple to do, takes all of 20 seconds (if you've already got hg configured for email, otherwise it'll take you 60ish seconds heh). The instructions are here.The email for the list is
